Portland hip-hop collective Monday of the Minds will host Assasi at their Monday, March 14 Community Hip-Hop Showcase. Join us at Flask Lounge from 8PM for a DJ set by Graphic Melee, an open mic, freestyle cyphers, and music by Assasi, Sparxsea, Marco Soulo, and Dynamo P.

Assasi is grateful to Monday of the Minds for making space to honor the late, great Double A the Preacherman during this showcase. Double A was a beloved driving force behind Beirut’s hip-hop scene, often hosting that city’s own Monday-night hip-hop open mic, Hip-Hop Essentials 101.
